From the name to the certificate

Prior search
We verify that no identical or confusingly similar trademark is already registered in the relevant classes.
Nice Classification
We identify the classes of goods and services to cover, maximising protection at the lowest cost.
Application
We file the application with the OEPM or the EUIPO and handle all notifications during the opposition period.
Certificate and maintenance
Once the certificate is issued, we manage the renewals every 10 years and monitor for possible infringements.
Code is property.

Proof of authorship
Registration of the code with the Spanish Intellectual Property Registry or through a notarial deed. It is the starting point for any claim over copying.
Contracts with developers
Without an express assignment of rights, a freelance programmer keeps the intellectual property in the code. We draft specific clauses to prevent this.
